New Holland Workmaster 35 vs. Kubota L3560
Engine speed and horsepower are essential to the New Holland vs. Kubota comparison. The New Holland Workmaster 35 is a 7.4-gallon (28-liter), 35-horsepower tractor capable of achieving a rated engine speed of 2600 rpm.
On the other hand, the Kubota L3560 Limited Edition is a 13.5-gallon (51-liter), 37-horsepower machine at equivalent engine speed.
In terms of Power take-off (PTO), the Workmaster has an optional transmission horsepower of 29.7 (22.1) Gear / 28.0 (20.9) HST as against 28 (20.9) for Kubota’s L3560.

The New Holland Boomer Compact 24 HP and Kubota BX2680 are a good comparison owing to their portable size, power, and versatility.
The 6.6-gallon (25-liter) Boomer Compact 24 HP’s engine has a gross horsepower of 24.4 (18.2 kW) and a rated engine speed of 2700 rpm. It has standard rear and mid-PTO with a speed of 540 rpm rear and 2000 rpm mid. The basic transmission mechanism is mechanical/hydrostatic with a maximum forward speed of 11.3 mph (18.6 kph).
The Kubota BX2680 is a 6.6-gallon (25-liter) machine with an engine horsepower of 25.5 (19 kW) and a rated engine speed of 3200 rpm. The BX2680 has live independent PTO with a speed of 540 rpm. The basic transmission mechanism is hydrostatic / high-low shift, with a maximum forward speed of 8.4 mph (13.5 kph).
Are New Holland Tractors Any Good?
Similar to Kubota, New Holland makes quality tractors. From our New Holland Workmaster 35 vs. Kubota comparison, the L3560 has significantly greater fuel capacity than the Workmaster 35, although both tractors have an equivalent rated engine speed of 2600 revolutions per minute (rpm).
The Workmaster 35 uses a transmission configuration of synchronized shuttle gears to achieve a maximum forward speed of 14.2 mph (22.9 kph) Gear and 14.8 mph (23.9 kph) HST.
The L3560 utilizes a hydrostatic transmission configuration with 3 ranges and can achieve a maximum forward speed of 16.5 mph (26.5 kph). Kubota’s L3560 surpasses New Holland’s Workmaster 35 in terms of fuel capacity. The obvious implications are that the L3560 will be able to work for a longer period than the Workmaster 35 on a full tank.
With a 35-horsepower rating, the Kubota outperforms New Holland’s Workmaster 35 in terms of engine power. For handling several tasking farm operations such as hauling implements, plowing, and harvesting, greater engine power is always a good thing.
For the New Holland Boomer 24 vs. Kubota BX comparison, both models have equivalent fuel capacity (6.6 gallons), so they should operate for about the same duration with a full tank. However, the Kubota BX2680 has higher horsepower under its hood (25.5 vs. 24.4). It also has a significantly greater rated engine speed than the Boomer Compact 24 HP (3200 rpm vs. 2700 rpm).
